Dear Sisters, Brothers, and Friends in Christ,
Last Sunday morning in Spiritual Enrichment, we opened a live (and lively) conversation with LeAnn Pope about her Master’s thesis, “From Colorblind to Clearer Vision: A White Christian’s Unexpected Journey Toward Redemption”. LeAnn’s comments were candid, confessional, and born of both deep prayer and critical analysis. The questions asked by the nearly 50 people in attendance were diverse, thoughtful, and rich.
Please join us this Sunday, October 18 from 8:45 to 9:45 A.M. as we continue our discussion both of LeAnn’s thesis and the broader anti-racism work of which it is a part. Our time together will offer us a chance to ask additional questions of LeAnn and, what’s more, to reflect on various questions, ourselves, as a broader group.
God’s Peace,
Jeff
